Residential Mortgage Underwriter

Description & Requirements

Summary of Duties:

Complete the underwriting to allow approval of residential mortgage loan products including Home Mortgage Loans. Assist department manager with review of new files for compliance accuracy and implementation of new regulatory changes.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible in approving or declining loan application for residential mortgages.
  • Analyze and evaluate income, asset, credit, and collateral to ensure adherence to Bryant Bank prevailing lending standards, policies and procedures; investor and agency guidelines for residential mortgage loans.

Position Requirements:

Consumer Real Estate Loan Documentation Specialist

Description & Requirements

The Consumer Real Estate Loan Documentation Specialist has responsibility for creating required consumer loan disclosures and documentation packages, including TRID documents.

This position reports to the Bank’s Director of Loan Operations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience working for a financial services company, with at least some exposure to consumer compliance
  • Strong consumer lending or loan operations experience with an understanding of loan documentation and credit underwriting.
  • Experience using LaserPro or similar consumer real estate loan document preparation system

Bryant Bank has an immediate opening for a Digital Marketing Manager in our Marketing Department, located in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, Alabama. The purpose of this position is to assist the director in the coordination and execution of digital media activities for Bryant Bank, including oversight of social media, website content, email marketing, digital campaigns, and more. This position works under the direction of the Marketing Department and the Vice President, Marketing Director, as well as with other bank departments, agency/vendors, and partners in the promotion of Bryant Bank’s wide variety of products, services, and community work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist the Marketing Director with the digital marketing strategy across all digital devices and mediums. This strategy includes but is not limited to websites, mobile apps, social media, blogs, email campaigns, newsletters, banner advertising, etc.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day execution, measurement, and content creation for social media and paid social campaigns to ensure a successful social media presence.
  • Collaborates with the bank’s agency to develop digital marketing strategies through customer data-mining, market research, benchmarking, and target audience identification.
  • Supervises and maintains the organization’s websites, online, and mobile marketing channels in collaboration with bank departments, vendors, or agencies to maintain and improve the website (including SEO).
  • Maintains and monitors the bank’s e-communication systems including but not limited to email (Mailchimp and Encompass CRM), digital lobby signage, ATM messaging, and on-hold messaging systems.
  • Produces internal and external email campaigns.
  • Supervises and manages online monitoring software that assists with reviews, online mentions, and local listings.
  • Clear understanding of search engine optimization and marketing, Google Analytics, tag managers, and measuring Key Performance Indicators are required.
  • Calculates marketing ROI on digital marketing campaigns and initiatives, when applicable.
  • Handles the day-to-day requests for photos, logos, and electronic files.
  • Gives input to supervisor for budget needs to support digital marketing efforts.
  • Remains current in social media and digital marketing trends.
  • Copywriting and/or graphic design is a plus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Four-plus years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field is preferred. The hiring team is seeking someone with experience in the financial industry, marketing, advertising, and/or digital communications fields.  A clear understanding of social media and digital marketing and how to apply it is required.

Extreme proficiency with technology applications that relate to all aspects of digital marketing, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, and proficiency in AP style, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job is preferred.  Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite products would be very beneficial.  Good facilitation skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with other members of the marketing team and all other employees in the organization is needed.
