BRYANT BANK ADDS TWO LOCAL BANKERS TO TUSCALOOSA TEAM

In addition to the recent announcement of the hiring of long-time Tuscaloosa resident and local banking executive, Mark Sullivan, as an Executive Vice President, Bryant Bank has hired Candice Burge and Kristi Kamplain.

Burge joins Bryant Bank as a senior vice president, commercial lender, and has been in the banking industry for over 30 years.   She began her career as a loan assistant but has evolved into a well-known real estate lending banker in the Tuscaloosa community.  Her experience is well-rounded as she also focuses on commercial lending, tax credit funding, and construction lending.   Burge has served the community in many roles, such as an American Red Cross board member, treasurer for the Exchange Club’s Chili Cook Off and Habitat for Humanity, and is the current president of the Alabama Banker’s Association’s Bankers 2 Business leadership program.  Burge is a graduate of Alabama Banking School and Leadership Tuscaloosa.  She is married to Wally Burge and has two daughters, Taylor and Sarah.

Kamplain joins Bryant Bank as a vice president, private banker, and has been in the banking industry over 20 years.  She began her banking career in Montgomery, which eventually led her to Tuscaloosa.  Kamplain has served as a branch manager for many years before transitioning to a professional and executive banker in 2017.  Her strengths in branch management and relationship management will be a great asset to Bryant Bank.  In 2018, Kamplain founded the Joy Like Anna Foundation, a foundation that was created to honor the life and legacy of Anna Pritchett Kamplain, her youngest daughter.  The foundation’s mission is to spread joy through service and mission projects that Anna was passionate about during her lifetime.  She is married to Thomas Kamplain and has two additional children, Hunter and Alli.  Kamplain is a graduate of Leadership Tuscaloosa.

“We are extremely excited to have Candice and Kristi join the Bryant Bank family.  Both are well-known and respected as bankers and volunteers in our community,” said Claude Edwards, bank president.  “These bankers offer the same level of unbeatable service that Bryant Bank is known for, too.  We are fortunate to have them join our team.”

Burge and Kamplain began their new roles at Bryant Bank on September 2nd.
