Bryant Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Mitchell to Chief Administrative Officer. Mike will continue to serve in his current role as Chief Credit Officer while taking on expanded administrative leadership responsibilities.
Mike joined Bryant Bank in 2019, bringing extensive experience from high-level lending and credit administration roles within the banking industry in Alabama. In addition to his banking expertise, Mike served 35 years in the Alabama Army National Guard, retiring as a Brigadier General. During his tenure as Chief Credit Officer, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in maintaining the bank’s credit quality and strategic direction.

In his expanded role as Chief Administrative Officer, Mike will lead multiple departments within the bank and oversee new projects and initiatives as Bryant Bank approaches $3 billion in assets. His dual responsibilities position him to provide comprehensive oversight of both credit operations and administrative functions, while spearheading strategic initiatives that support the bank’s continued growth and service to its communities.
A Tuscaloosa resident and graduate of the University of Alabama’s School of Business, Mike is also deeply engaged in the Tuscaloosa Community. He currently serves as a board member for the Community Foundation of West Alabama and has been part of the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association of West Alabama since 2023. Mike also serves on the Public Affairs Council for The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama.
Mike lives in Tuscaloosa with his wife, Kim Mitchell. Their son, Collin, a University of Alabama graduate, resides in Birmingham.
