Bryant Bank Donates $25,000 to the Rise School of Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – On April 9th, Paul Bryant Jr., chairman of Bryant Bank, and Ken Watson, Huntsville President, presented the Rise School of Huntsville a $25,000 donation at the School’s grand opening.

The donation will allow Rise to move out of its existing location at Trinity United Methodist Church and move into its own space. It will also help fund expansion of the school beyond its single classroom and purchase of equipment for the classroom and its playground. The school currently has four students but has a waiting list that will be fulfilled upon expansion.

Ken Watson was pleased to provide Rise with a donation from the Bank. Watson serves as the school’s treasurer.

“On behalf of Bryant Bank, we are extremely pleased to present Rise with this donation. Rise’s program is very dear to our hearts and is important to the Huntsville community. We’re excited for Rise’s opportunity to grow and prepare our children for the future. If I would have had this opportunity with my own children, they would have gone to this school, no matter what the cost,” said Watson.

The Rise School of Huntsville is a non-profit organization providing the highest quality of early childhood education services to children with developmental disabilities and children without disabilities.
